Hello everyone!

My name is Alexis, and I’m originally from the Bay Area—specifically El Cerrito and Berkeley. My journey working with children began while I was pursuing my degree in Psychology at San Francisco State University, where I discovered a passion for working with adolescents and young learners.

For the past three years, I’ve been working in childcare, and I’ve especially loved being immersed in the Montessori approach to early education. This year, I’m thrilled to have joined the Keystone community as I work toward completing my full Assistant Teacher certification.

I’m truly excited to be on this new journey with you all and to grow within the Keystone family. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy making music (I play the viola and love to sing), hiking in nature, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors at games.
